tears are forming in your eyesA STORM IS WARNINGin the skies in the end- - - - -The blond sixteen year old pulled up to the camp Lockswood's parking lot in her silver Ford Fusion felling nerves and skepticism forming in her stomach. Maybe she should have shown up with the other campers who were now piling out of the big yellow bus. But her grandmother firmly ordered that she take her own car. Her grandmother wasn't a big fan of public transportation. She sighed as she turned off the car, pulling the keys out of the ignition and throwing them roughly into her blue suede messenger bag. She grabbed her sunglasses that were in the cup holder, placed them on the bridge of her nose and stepped slowly out of the car. For the first day at camp, Lily had struggled to find what outfit she should wear. She most definitely didn't want to stick out more than she already was. A camp like this was wear the campers all knew each other, grew up together. And Lily was starting late, and now had to earn her place there.
Looking down at her jeans, her pink and purple tank tops, and her favorite pair of converse, she took a deep breath. It was now or never. She placed the strap of her bag on her shoulder and tucked her black cardigan over her arm as she made her way to the trunk of the car. She grabbed all the luggage that she brought with her this year, piling each suitcase on top of one another and making none would fall. She closed her trunk and made her way towards the camp entrance, following behind a couple of kids who seem to know where they were going.
But as she looked around, she noticed other were carrying small piles of paperwork and she frowned. Did she forget something. She was absolutely positive that she had brought everything when she left that morning. Pressing her lips together as she looked around in hopes to find a counselor to help her.

hollister and charlotte were arriving by private car. they always did because the two girls had to take a plane to get to rhode island from beverly hills. the two sisters were currently sitting in the backseat, not saying a word to each other. holli and charlie weren't on the best of terms anymore. the car stopped and holli jumped out. she was excited to start the summer with all of her old friends and make some new ones. new friends were always good especially because she had a tendency to lose a lot of friends due to her attitude towards life, they were just jealous.
when she got out of the car, hollister spotted the perfect new friend. she ignored the loads of kids getting off of the big yellow school bus. she had her eye on an obviously new girl with obscenely curly blonde hair. hollister walked towards her as fast as she could in her brand new christian louboutin heels. holli wasn't really dressed for summer camp. she was wearing super short shorts and a tight tee-shirt that said party like a rock star on it. she was also wearing oodles of accessories. it looked cute, but the whole camp thing wasn't going to happen.
finally, hollister caught up with the blonde girl and she said "hi, i'm hollister. are you new here?" holli knew that she sounded totally sweet and innocent, anyone would believe it. sometimes she even believed it herself, she was just that good. as she waited for blondie to respond, she fingered the cigarette on her pink lips necklace that had a cigarette dangling from it. it was her favorite necklace that she almost always wore. she was wearing pink peace signs in her cartilage that totally counteracted the machine gun necklace that dangled next to her lips. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGGED ?! open. ---------- Mandy didn't think twice about taking the bus back to camp. She had already been there for what seemed like half a million summers so it wasn't as if she didn't know anyone. She pretty much knew everyone in fact. Most people hated the bus, but she didn't mind it so much. The rest of the world was easy to block out with a well charged ipod. If you didn't have that something crazy was always happening. No one really cared what went on, on the bus. They were teenagers, old enough to take care of themselves. That thought made Mandy laugh.
The counselors didn't waste any time pulling luggage of the bus and throwing it into a big pile. Mandy watched as her was thrown to the very bottom of the pile. Her guitar went next, she was quick to grab it before it got crushed beneath something but her bag was hopelessly stuck. Not that she was weak, but pulling a duffel out from under five wasn't something she could do. She pulled the head phones out of her ear and jammed the ipod into Heath's sweater. She had borrowed it a while ago and didn't have any intention on giving it back. She didn't really think he would mind.
Mandy found herself wondering exactly where her best friend was. She didn't doubt that he was off some where flirting with an unfortunate camper girl who had no idea what he was like. As much as she loved her friend, he was really a jerk some times. She just grinned, If she looked like him she was sure she wouldn't be much better. She tapped her fingers on her jeans waiting, there had to be someone who could help her out.

They say that I'm a bad boy, that i can't help myselfEVEN THOUGH I KNOW I SHOULDI'm just to bad to be good- - - - - -Heath, for once in his life, wasn't late for something. He pulled into the parking lot of camp rather early. Well early for him, it was on time for others. He turned off his blue ford mustang, giving his baby a good rub on the dash board. He loved that car, it was the only thing that remained constant in his life. Well besides a few close friends he had collected over time. He stepped out of his car, his duffel bag over his shoulder, and slammed the door shot. After making sure his car was locked, he slowly made his way toward the entrance. His headphones from his iPod was already in his ear. He was listening to his new favorite song by Cobra Starship, it had his head bobbing up and down to the beat. There wasn't really any instruments being used in the song but he was pretty sure he could repeat the melody if he wanted too.
His blue eyes scanned around the grounds quickly, stopping for a moment on a group of girls. They were new and all giggling, looking straight in his direction. Heath was use to it by now, he was the kind of guy to use that to his advantage. He was a big believer of using his looks to get what he wanted. But lucky for him he was smart enough not to get himself in too much trouble, though he has made a girl cry once or twice. Not his fault that they try to rein him in.
Moving his gaze away from the group of girls, his attention was now on finding a particular girl. Mandy to be exact. Mandy Rae Davis was probably the only girl he stuck close too. They were just friend of course, though they've flirted on several occasions but nothing more than that. It was mostly just for fun. But it wasn't long before he found what he wanted, and he smirked. It look like Mandy was having a hard time with her duffel. He walked towards her, only taking a couple long strides before he stood before her. "Need help, M?" He asked using his own personal nickname for her as he set his duffel down and reached for hers.

tears are forming in your eyesA STORM IS WARNINGin the skies in the end- - - - -hi, i'm hollister. are you new here?
It was a simple phrase but it took Lily by surprise. She didn't expect to meet people so soon, or even have someone walk up to her and introduce themselves. Coming out of her shock rather quickly she gave the brunette a gracious and excited smile. "Hello Hollister." She started, her new york accent coming out in her voice, "I'm Lily, and yes I'm new. I was wondering if there's a place where we're suppose to check in." she continued a slightly puzzled look came over her expression.
Her blue eyes moved from Hollister to explore around the grounds for a few moment before she looked back at the girl before her. Camp Lockswood looked like a grand place. On the outside it looked like any ordinary camp ground. The lake, the trees, the children running around. But if you focused, you could see the dedication that ran through the whole of it. All of it made Lily even more excited and she itched to start working. Admittedly, she was a little too obsessed when it came to music but it was all she had. It was her identity, without it she wouldn't be herself.
Focusing back on Hollister, Lily cleared her throat. "I take it that you're a regular here?" She asked, genuinely interested. Having at least one friend here would make the experience so much easier. Hopefully, if all goes well, Lily wouldn't have to sit by herself for her first meal at camp. Course, if her brother wouldn't have been so stubborn, she would have had him here with her.

holli loved camp, she had been coming here for quite a few years now. it wasn't something that people expected from hollister and she liked that, she liked that unpredictibility factor. of course, california was great, but it would be there after this summer. it would be there after she made new friends and made music. she needed to have some good times her, she needed the change of scenery. it was good for her behavoir and all that fun stuff. hollister dropped her hands to her sides almost instantly when lily spoke. she had a cool new york accent and spoke rather formally, hollister would have to do something about that. "please call me holli." lily, that was a pretty name for a girl like the one in front of her. hollister's name was very unique and different. holli liked that, too. hollister chuckled a little bit in an amused way when lily asked if there was someplace they had to go to check. "we usually just check in at our cabins. you do know where you're going right?" either way, holli could definitely help lily. she was practically an expert on the camp she had been attending for so many years in a row now. as she waited for the conversation to gon on, hollister took in the familiar sites. she was already ready to get to work and get crushing people. holli had only just arrived, but she could already feel both her artistic and competitive juices flowing. she whipped her head around when lily spoke, she had probably smacked some poor unfortunate soul with her long wavy locks as she did that. so, lily had noticed that about her already? good. "yeah, i've been coming here for years." after all, what else was there to do with summers now that her mom was retired? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGGED ?! open. ---------- Mandy heard an all to familiar voice beside her and she turned quickly to see Heath. She was shocked to say the least, not only was it early it seemed he hadn't done any flirting either. "I wasn't expecting you for at least another 20 minutes. I was going to ask some random hot guy for help. I'll guess you'll do though candy man," Mandy said with a giggle. She didn't bother to point out her bag, it had been the same once since the beginning of time. It was her dad's old army duffel, it special to her.
Mandy looked around the camp, It felt like being home in an odd sort of way. She took a mental survey checking of names in her head of people that she was glad to see were back. Her list was crushed when her eyes fell on Hollister and what seemed to be her newest victim. "Great," said Mandy with feigned enthusiasm. "Do you think we can go just one summer with out a St. Clair?" It was hypothetical but she was sure Heath had some ridiculous comment. So instead of being annoyed she would be amused instead. She really hated that about him.
She turned her back on Holli and the poor new girl that was stuck with her. Mandy couldn't help but feel totally energized at that moment. She could feel the insane talent surging through the area and she wanted to use all for good. She wanted to write and preform and dance and what ever else came along. Mandy shoved her hands into the pockets of the hoodie to keep everyone from seeing how jittery she was. It didn't help that she was rocking back and forth on her heels. They were liable to think she was insane. She could blame a sugar rush she supposed, but no one would really believe that. "Hurry up there dude, I have the sudden urge for ice cream," said Mandy with a grin. Ice cream was the last thing she needed just then. No one needed to know that though.

They say that I'm a bad boy, that i can't help myselfEVEN THOUGH I KNOW I SHOULDI'm just to bad to be good- - - - - -Heath should have expected that Mandy would comment on his out of character experience. But he gave his usual halfassed shrug. He gripped the handle of her bag and jerked hard. The army duffel came out effortlessly, the blessing of being a sports star. He placed it beside her and crossed his arms over his chest. "Someone's overly happy to be at camp." He laughed. Mandy always seemed to amuse him somehow. She wasn't like the other girls, she didn't lie to him or tried to put up this false front to impress to him.
He grabbed his duffel and threw it over his shoulder. His crystal blue gaze lifted past Mandy towards Holli. He gave a small chuckle at Mandy's obvious hostility towards the pop princess. "Well, you gotta admit. The St. Clairs' make life interesting." He state rather quickly as he started to walk towards the Cabins, he usually had the same cabin each year. "Come on, M, don't let her get to you." He added as he glanced over his shoulder. He stopped walking and turned back towards her. He made his way back and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close.
"Bet you got some killer songs lined up." He commented to get her mind off Holli. "We're gonna win the competition this year, I know it." He added with a smirk, his competitive nature slowly seeping out of him. Competing was all he knew, that and winning. There hasn't been a challenge that he had stepped into that he didn't win. Losing was never an option. It wasn't an option.

tears are forming in your eyesA STORM IS WARNINGin the skies in the end- - - - -Lily shifted back and forth on her toes, making a small bobbing motion. Staying still wasn't something she was good at. The fact that she had to move constantly annoyed her mother and father more than she probably realize. But she crossed her arms over her chest, trying to still herself and she looked back at Holli. "Oh, well then. Nice to meet you Holli." She added with a small shrug. She wasn't much for nicknames, she kind of just allow others to call her all forms of her name. It was just too much hassle to make them stop. She had other things to worry about. Like her music.
A small hint of red appeared on her nose and cheeks when Holli explained that they signed in at their cabins. She was sure that she had just made herself look even more new. But she guess it was already impossible to do anything about it now. She nodded slowly, "Right. That make sense." She replied as she looked around. "I'm guessing people who come here annually would know where they're already sleeping, huh?" She continued as she looked around. Her gaze moved down to the small pile of luggage she had with her. It was a lot more than an average person would need, but it was all the essentials that Lily needed. Her make up, clothes, accessories, shoes and everything that were with her guitar. Not to mention her laptop and music journal. "No, I don't know where I'm going. Can you help me? That is if you don't mind." She asked looking back up at Holli with a hopeful expression. Though Lily expected a no, she understood that Holli might want to catch up with her old friends instead helping a new girl out.
"For years?" She questioned, "Oh that's cool." She commented with a slight smile.

as much as hollister loved her full name, she was really a lot more comfortable with being called by the nickname holli. it was a lot easier and took less time to say, it just made life easier. besides, you didn't want to wear out her name. now, did you? she had tried coming up with other nicknames for herself, but holli seemed to be the only good one. however, lily was a good nickname name. you could call her loads of things and undoubtedly holli probably would.
hollister didn't notice lily's little blush in any way, shape or form. in fact, she wasn't looking at the new girl at all. hollister was much too busy waving at a petite blonde girl who she had been friends with since she first started coming to the camp. she was amazingly dull, meaning she was a perfect candidate to be holli's friend. she wouldn't steal hollister's spotlight and therefore wouldn't need to be put in her place.
hollister turned her attention back to lily, just in time to hear the blonde speak again. "we do" holli said, simply in reply to lily's statement. however, it wouldn't be hard to find where lily was staying. holli had some ins at this camp. besides, there was only so many vacancies at a camp like this. in fact, it was very possible that lily was staying the same cabin as hollister. holli spotted lily's hopeful expression and knew she was in. she smiled sweetly and said "i would love to help you find where you're going." hollister picked up her extremely huge bag of belongings and started walking. "c'mon! let's get going!" she shouted to lily. hollister didn't really want to be stuck at the entrance which was being overrun with kids at the moment. "yep. hollister said proudly in response to lily's question. "you'll fit right in, don't worry." hollister reassured with a bright smile on her face. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGGED ?! open. hey are you okay? YOU LOOK PRETTY LOW VERY HANDSOME AWKWARD
In the front seat of a White jeep was a daydreaming red head and a dark haired boy. It was blasting music. The song " Pretty Handsome Awkward" could be heard from a mile away. They pulled up into the camp's parking lot and the car was turned off. "Ri, were here." Her little brother's voice from the driver's seat brought Riot out of her thoughts. The boy had offered to drive her to camp for her, testing out his new driving skills. She turned and smiled at him as her bright red hair fell into her green eyes. "Thanks buddy. " She smiled, reaching over and ruffling his hair. The boy batted his older sister's hand away and grinned, handing her the papers she needed and such. " Don't forget these." He muttered to her and Riot laughed. She was quiet forgetful sometimes. The fiery redhead pushed open the door. She got out and stretched. She was wearing yellow skinny jeans and a skelanimal's t-shirt. She made her way to the trunk and pulled out her two duffle bags and a acoustic guitar. She put them down and walked to the driver's side and stuck her head inside the window, kissing her younger brother on the cheek. " See ya Kaige. Be safe okay." She said biting her lip. Riot hated living her brother, she was a bit protective over him since her older brother Hollis had died. " I'll be fine." The boy said softly and patting his sister's hand. She nodded and watched the car leave the parking lot. She turned and saw a bus load of kids and and a few others standing around and talking. The red head stood there and watched the activities around her. She bit her lip and started playing with her vibrant hair in between her slender fingers. She let out a huff of air and scrunched her face. She saw a new girl that she didn't know and that was all that stood out.

Jake's flight had been two hours late and so you could imagine how on edge he was. This was only his second year at camp and last year had been a complete mess. He hid, in his brothers shadow the whole time. This year he was planning to break out, he had what it took to make it, he just had to work on believing in himself. The only thing he needed now was to end up on any team but his brother's. He wasn't expecting much.
Jake pulled the aviator glasses over his eyes. He didn't need anyone seeing how truly terrified he was of this summer. It was easy to talk things up but to do them was much harder. He grabbed his green duffel bags and headed for the camp interest. It was too bad that he was all sorts of clumsy and walked into someone he didn't know at all. "Sorry," he said quickly. Jake pulled off his sunglasses no reason to seem rude.
He shifted the bag on his shoulder standing there rather awkwardly. His attention was focused on the ground. He was ready for yelling and a huge scene that would make him blush in embarrassments. Then he would attempt to spit out a reply and stumble over his words because he was just that lame. Camp seemed like it would be no different then last year. Jake just sighed. Wasn't he just the luckiest kid in the universe. He figured that maybe one day things would work out for him. Today just didn't seem to be it. He could survive one whole summer right? He had been doing it his whole life after all.

---------- Mandy rolled her eyes, life was nothing for him. It took no effort at all, she envied that. It was half the reason she started talking to them. She didn't really think they would be as good friends as they are now. They were total opposites, but it worked. Mandy glared at him playfully as he easily pulled her bag from the pile, "jerk." Mandy picked up her bag holding at her side, if she put it on her shoulder she just might fall over from the lop-sided weight. She shifted, looking at him curiously, he seemed different. "Someone has to be excited about camp for reasons other than flirting! and besides not all of us have wonderful lives," she said with a grin.
When he looked over at Holli she did too. It was quite pathetic, but that was how much she didn't like her. It was one of those rivalries of the century. Epic and such, Hollister St. Clair was just not meant to breathe the same air as Mandy. She pushed her hair over her shoulder. Mandy bit her tongue, the St. Clair's made life dramatic and that was never interesting. "Can't you just like date one of them and then break their heart and they will run away and never come back?" she was serious but she knew he wouldn't take it that way. Most people didn't take her serious, she'd learned to cope with that. Not letting her get to you was a lot easier said then done. Sometimes Mandy hated being friends with a guy like Heath. She knew that he was right.
Mandy blushed when he mentioned her songs, "A few, they probably aren't that great though. Heartbreak songs are rarely good for competitions." She couldn't help but laugh, they were angry, sometimes obscene and senseless. For her it worked, not so much for the rest of the world. Mandy smiled,"No one is going to stop us this year!"

( tell me that you love me , AND IT WILL BE ALRIGHT ) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Emily stood in front of the camp with her bags in hand. She just stood there, staring. Was it weird to be both tired and excited? Emily was so happy to be here and after her trip up here, she needed something to be happy about. See Emily’s original plan was to take a bus to camp like last year but the bus had problems and there was this whole mess. Emily had been late. So her mother, in worry, had asked Emily’s father to drive her up instead. That wasn’t so bad. Emily would sit and listen to her ipod. But her mother wanted the whole family to come along and say goodbye to Emily. During the whole trip Emily wanted to throw herself out of the car. She would have preferred taken the bus and have it break down again then sit in the car with her family for a couple of hours. Now Emily loved her family to death but their car was small, the ride was long, and her father didn’t like making to many trips to go to the bathroom or something like that.
On top of that there was her sibling’s complaining. Emily’s older sister, Isabelle, wanted to know why she had to come just to say bye which she could have done at home. Her younger siblings who were twins, Camille and Lenny, thought the same things and argued the whole time. Camille and Lenny always were the fighters of the family. Some would think being twins they would be closer but that was the complete opposite. Sure they loved each other but they always fought over the stupidest of things. Emily wasn’t angered that her siblings didn’t seem like they would miss her but more annoyed that they wouldn’t shut the hell up. So when Emily got out of the car in front of the camp, she almost kissed the ground. Her family hugged her and said goodbye and then they were off. Thank God.
Emily took a deep breath in. The air coming from the ocean felt good. It was good to be back. The walked inside the camp to get her forms and stuff and smiled. It didn’t seem too crowded, there were only a few people there. She turned to look everywhere, to see if anything had changed. It really hadn’t. Emily continued walking but since she was in a daze, she wasn’t really paying attention to where she was going or looking and bumped into someone. Emily didn’t drop her bag or guitar case or didn’t fall to the ground or anything which was good. She didn’t want to look stupid on the first day, ”Oh I’m sorry” Emily said softly before looking up at the face she bumped into. It was a boy who looked around her age. He was looking at the ground for some reason. Emily felt herself blush. He was kind of cute.

They say that I'm a bad boy, that i can't help myselfEVEN THOUGH I KNOW I SHOULDI'm just to bad to be good- - - - - -Heath looked down at her small frame with a hurt expression. But of course he was joking, it didn't take much to hurt him. He placed his hand over his heart and pouted slightly. "Me? A jerk? Now that hurts M, it really does." He countered his pout only growing. But that pout turned into a quick frown when she said not everyone can have such wonderful lives. Of course, it wasn't like he walked around near tears about everything bad that happened in his life. He didn't like wearing his emotions on his sleeve, he was too paranoid for that. He cleared his throat quickly, "Yeah well, the people who seem to have wonderful lives are just good a pretending." He commented as he continued down the path.
He smirked as he quickly glanced at Hollister and then back to Mandy. "Date one of em? Nah, I don't purposely try to be a jerk. Just kinda happens." He explained with a small shrug. "Plus anyway, I find them boring you know. They're average, nothing extraordinary." Hollister and Charlotte didn't catch his attention. They were a stereotype. Just like the other girls who were competitive and striving to get what they want. He find that slightly annoying. Especially when they were clingy.
